Green House Gases (GHG) Debunked AGAIN!

Natural gas reserves in the US got some significant unsolicited support when multiple organizations expressed their dissatisfaction with a study done at Cornell University by Robert Howarth and Anthony Ingraffea about emissions from shale gas production being worse than coal. Many prominent organizations are quoted in this Oct 26, 2011 posting: (http://www.energyindepth.org/2011/10/new-study-debunks-cornell-ghg-paper-again/) using verbiage such as; “we don’t think they’re using credible data”; “biased”;” wrong”; “seriously flawed”; “inappropriate”. Note worthy is that the Sierra Club in their funded study “found its premises to be flawed”.
Less EPA! More private entrepreneurial creativity!
These observations come from a broad spectrum showing the collection of natural gas via hydraulic fracturing as being safe to the environment. Maybe this will be the needed “shot in the arm” for venture capitalist to get involved and increase the number of productive wells, infrastructure creation, refinery building etc.
Comments such as these beg for wide exposure to reduce the negative noise (voiced by a small but loud element) to facilitate economic growth and reduce our dependency upon foreign sources. I for one look forward to the day the USA becomes self sufficient in the gas and oil arena!
